From Saved Reel to Booked Trip

Turn Any Reel Into a Trip Itinerary

You already saved the video. Paste the link and Borderly turns it into a real, mapped itinerary — with flights, hotels, and price alerts — instead of one more thing sitting in your camera roll.

How it works

1

Paste the link

Copy the Instagram Reel or TikTok link into Borderly — no screenshots, no re-typing captions.

2

Borderly extracts the places

Every restaurant, hotel, and attraction mentioned or shown in the video gets pulled out automatically and pinned to a map.

3

It becomes a real itinerary

Borderly fills in the gaps with an AI-planned day-by-day schedule, real flights, and real hotels — not just a list of pins.

4

Get alerted when it gets cheap

Set a price watch on the destination and get notified the moment flight or hotel prices drop, so you book at the right time instead of the first time.

FAQ

Does this work with private Instagram accounts?

Borderly can only read content it has access to, the same as anyone opening the link — a private account's reel needs to be shared as a link you have access to, the same as sharing it with a friend.

Does it work with YouTube Shorts too, or just Instagram and TikTok?

Instagram Reels and TikTok links are the primary supported sources today. Paste the link and Borderly will tell you if it can't extract locations from it.

What if the reel only shows one place, not a whole trip?

That's fine — Borderly adds the single extracted place to your trip and you can keep pasting more reels, or let the AI trip planner fill out the rest of the itinerary around it.

Is this free?

Borderly has a free web plan you can use to try importing a reel today. See /pricing for the mobile and lifetime tiers.

How is this different from just saving posts in the Instagram or TikTok app?

Saving in-app keeps the video, not a plan. Borderly turns the same link into an actual itinerary item on a map, alongside flights, hotels, and price alerts for the destination — not just a folder you'll forget to open.
