Finally made it to 1K status after years of Gold. Honestly not sure if the benefits are worth the effort. What am I missing?

The upgrades are the main benefit. You'll clear way more often than Gold.

Premier Access and free checked bags for whole family is underrated.

International Polaris lounges access is fantastic if you fly longhaul.

1K is most valuable on premium routes. Domestic-only, maybe not worth the chase.
