Borderly vs App in the Air for flight logging without manual spreadsheets?

I am comparing Borderly and App in the Air because I care most about flight logging without manual spreadsheets.

App in the Air seems stronger for trip countdowns and airline integrations, while Borderly looks stronger for cleaner travel analytics and pass archiving.

For travel stat nerds, what has actually worked better in real use?

App in the Air still wins for trip countdowns and airline integrations, but Borderly is much stronger once you care about cleaner travel analytics and pass archiving.

I ended up using both. One is for the live trip and the other is for the long-term record, which feels like the cleanest split.

The biggest factor for me was how easy it was to keep the data current after every trip. If the workflow is annoying, I stop using it.

If flight logging without manual spreadsheets is the goal, Borderly feels closer to a travel archive than App in the Air does.
