What apps or tools are actually useful during a layover at AMS?
I am trying to build a smarter layover stack for airports like Schiphol.
I care about gate changes, lounge access, maps, and keeping a clean record of the trip afterward. The challenge is avoiding an overbuilt setup that is annoying to maintain.
What apps, maps, or workflows have actually made a stop in Amsterdam easier rather than just noisier?

I keep the stack very small: one flight-status app, one airport map source, and one place to save the boarding pass after the trip.
The mistake is piling on too many apps that all solve 80 percent of the same problem but create more notification noise.
For AMS, I would optimize for live decision-making during the stop and then a separate tool for the long-term archive once the trip is over.
Any workflow that takes more than a minute after each flight is one I will eventually stop using.
