Best way to handle a 6-8 hour layover at Changi (SIN)?
I have a medium-length layover coming up in Singapore through Changi and I am trying to decide whether to stay airside or build a simple routine around food, a walk, and a solid reset.
The upside seems to be efficient immigration and strong food options. The downside is long walks between gates.
If you had this same stop in Asia, what would your actual playbook be?

SIN is one of those airports where a medium layover can feel great if you choose one goal and stick to it instead of stacking too many mini-plans.
I would decide based on whether efficient immigration is what you care about most, because once long walks between gates kicks in the stress rises fast.
My rule for a 6-8 hour stop is one main activity, one decent meal, and a very conservative buffer back through security.
If you are even slightly unsure, I would bias toward a calm airport routine and save the city run for a longer layover in Singapore.
