Best way to handle a 6-8 hour layover at Copenhagen Airport (CPH)?

I have a medium-length layover coming up in Copenhagen through Copenhagen Airport and I am trying to decide whether to stay airside or build a simple routine around food, a walk, and a solid reset.

The upside seems to be fast metro access and good food halls. The downside is using city time on too-short stops.

If you had this same stop in Europe, what would your actual playbook be?

CPH is one of those airports where a medium layover can feel great if you choose one goal and stick to it instead of stacking too many mini-plans.

I would decide based on whether fast metro access is what you care about most, because once using city time on too-short stops kicks in the stress rises fast.

My rule for a 6-8 hour stop is one main activity, one decent meal, and a very conservative buffer back through security.

If you are even slightly unsure, I would bias toward a calm airport routine and save the city run for a longer layover in Copenhagen.
