Best way to handle a 6-8 hour layover at LAX (LAX)?
I have a medium-length layover coming up in Los Angeles through LAX and I am trying to decide whether to stay airside or build a simple routine around food, a walk, and a solid reset.
The upside seems to be great long-haul choice and good premium lounges. The downside is road traffic killing city plans.
If you had this same stop in North America, what would your actual playbook be?

LAX is one of those airports where a medium layover can feel great if you choose one goal and stick to it instead of stacking too many mini-plans.
I would decide based on whether great long-haul choice is what you care about most, because once road traffic killing city plans kicks in the stress rises fast.
My rule for a 6-8 hour stop is one main activity, one decent meal, and a very conservative buffer back through security.
If you are even slightly unsure, I would bias toward a calm airport routine and save the city run for a longer layover in Los Angeles.
