I handle westbound jet lag fine but eastbound destroys me for days. Any proven strategies beyond sleep and light exposure?

Start shifting your sleep schedule 3 days before departure. Gradual adjustment helps.

Melatonin at destination bedtime for first 3 nights works for me.

Stay hydrated, avoid alcohol on the flight, and get sunlight upon arrival.

I take a red-eye when possible and force myself to stay up until local bedtime.
