Would you book a connection through MUC on purpose over a tighter routing?

I am comparing two itineraries and one of them connects through Munich Airport with a longer stop.

The appeal is easy navigation plus good premium ground experience. The hesitation is winter disruption planning.

Would you intentionally route through Munich if the total trip time was a bit longer but the layover quality looked much better?

I would absolutely choose MUC on purpose if the airport quality meaningfully lowers the chance of a chaotic connection day.

The best itinerary is not always the shortest one. Sometimes the calmer hub is worth far more than the saved hour on paper.

That said, if winter disruption planning is tied to the season or the exact bank of flights you are using, I would model that before committing.

A longer routing only wins when the extra time actually buys comfort, flexibility, or a better recovery window.
