This is Trinidad & Tobago's most popular street food, which is made up of fried bread, chickpeas and spicy sauces. Delicious! You'll also be enjoying a freshly made spicy fried pastry stuffed with a choice of delicious fillings!

You'll be visiting a popular farmers' market in the uptown part of Port of Spain at the Queen's Park Savannah. Here, you'll have some refreshingly chilled, freshly squeezed sugar cane juice, as well as some local sweet snacks as you walk through the market. You'll also have the option to purchase many homemade products, including teas, coffee, handicrafts, and so on, all made by local artisans.

Your fun market morning continues with a drive to the Tunapuna Market. Tunapuna is a bustling little town outside of Port of Spain. Your senses will be enjoying the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes! Besides experiencing the hustle and bustle of a Caribbean market, you'll also be enjoying some seasonal, freshly picked tropical fruits like juicy mangoes, pineapples, and guavas. A market is the soul of a region, and this one certainly has soul!

We tour the amazing Paramin mountains in the majestic Northern Range in local Jeeps (not for the faint-hearted, it is very steep and the jeeps rustic). Experience life in a remote agricultural mountain village and breathtaking panoramic views, guided by a community guide. Unforgettable experience!

You will be cruising through downtown Port of Spain, where the new mixes with the old (19th-century chic mixing with 21st-century functionality). Along the way, you will hear about some of the fascinating historical facts about this city, including where the Abolition of Slavery Act was read in 1834.

You’ll be stopping at a roadside vendor to experience one of our most popular breakfast food items; spicy doubles! You’ll also be enjoying another local favourite, fried pastry! This is made on the spot and can be stuffed with fish, potato, or chickpeas.

Food Stop: You will be stopping near the world-famous Queen's Park Cricket Ground at a neighbourhood bakery for a taste of the First Peoples; cassava pone. This is a delicious taste of our ancestors’ history, made with cassava, pumpkin, coconut, and various spices.

Your next segment of this tour takes you to the uptown part of Port of Spain where you will be driven even deeper into our history via 19th Century buildings (known as the Magnificent 7), the Botanic Gardens and the Queen's Park Savannah; said to be one of the world's largest roundabouts.

Fort George was Built in 1804. Formerly called La Vigie, Fort George is situated on the hills to the North of St. James overlooking the Gulf of Paria . now i add this as 1 of the stops because of the history and the views are breathtaking

Begin your tour 2 hours before sunset on the Manor Del Suzanne terrace overlooking forested fields as your guide spots and points out hummingbirds and other forest birds. Head out before dusk to enter the trail to explore the forest floor (home to red brocket deer, ocelots, agouti, turtles, tegu lizards, and other reptiles) and its amazing canopy. Exit the trail to spend the last 15 mins of daylight overlooking the river in the hope of spotting river otters, caimans or the noisy Grey-cowled Wood-Rails. Begin the evening stroll along Poui Walk after the sun has set. Pause at the shallow pond just before the entrance to the trail where hopefully during the rainy season, it will be teeming with life (be sure to bring a torch light and suitable footwear). Look out for Night Jar's as you walk towards the Grove where you pause to listen for owls and the sounds of other wildlife that forage at night. End your tour on the terrace with a glass of refreshing ice tea, before departing.
