Strolling down historical streets we'll negotiate our way through two very different market places while dropping in at an old-school tea-shop to try locally grown tea and snacks. Take in all the sights and tastes as we tuck into all the must try local dishes surrounding Sule Pagoda, beautiful Bogalayzay St. and beyond. Get your day started the local way and explore the city's stunning neighborhoods brimming with local vendors and fuel yourself for the rest of your day's sightseeing.

Meeting point is in front of Immanuel Baptist Church, originally built in 1830, though the present structure dates from 1885. Opposite side of Yangon City Hall. At 09.00, heritage walks start at YANGON CITY HALL, located at the heart of the colonial-era city. Nearby is the former Immigration Department. This building was designed in 1910 to be the country’s most upmarket department store, Rowe & Company. Proceed to the High Court, a 1911 brick building designed by the architect John Ransome. Continue walking down to PANSODAN STREET enjoying impressive colonial buildings and have a stop at HLA DAY, a non-profit social enterprise shop, offers quality contemporary and traditional handicrafts sourced from local producers often struggling to overcome disability, exclusion and poverty. You'll find colorful women's and kids' clothing, soft toys, stationery, jewellery, home wares and more there. Continue to Strand Road, home to the three-storey former New Law Courts. Next stop is the 1916 Custom House, a large building with an elegant white tower and double-faced clock above the entrance. Walk past the red brick General Post Office to the luxurious Strand Hotel, built in 1901 by the Sarkies brothers, Armenian hoteliers. And also see the bustling life at the NANTHIDA JETTY. Thirimingalar 24-hour vegetable market is very colorful with green vegetables, yellow fruits, bananas, flowers and many other seasonal stuffs. Everyone can choose favorite fruit to taste and offer to the monks as alms.

One can experience very active people life style in Yangon’s biggest Fish market when most of the people in Yangon are still sleeping. At 5:30 am guide will be waiting quietly at the hotel lobby and take you out to the workers’ live show at the fish and 24-hour vegetable markets in Yangon. Fishing boats are discharging fishes, workers busy moving fish boxes, ice boxes and cart moving here and there. It’s truly exotic scenes and no regret for the early wake up in Yangon.
